Purpose

We are always hungry for education and making sure that all our service providers always stay on top of current trends and techniques in the hair industry.

That's why Studio 101 owner, Kristen Lazzareschi, created our own Master Associate Program to prepare young stylists before going on the floor and pass them all the knowledge that we have.

Our Program

You can consider graduation from hairdressing academy as a BA degree in industry and Master training Program would be a MA degree to really deepen the knowledge and perfect skills.

Our own Master Associate Training Program is equivalent to a master degree for the hair industry. Our associates undergo extensive training in the most advanced techniques to perfect their skills in the arts of hair painting, coloring and cutting.

Our Associates

We look for stylists who have graduated or stylists that are approaching graduation and have close to 800-1000 hours.

New hires will start as a general associate, then have the opportunity to assist a stylist one-on-one. This process is 1.5 years. Associates go through a series of classes to master their craft. It takes 10,000 hours of practice to become a master. We offer hands-on experience and we have an amazing culture. After one year you’ll start taking your own guests and are paid a commission. We offer an amazing career path where you can make $80,000 a year in a couple of years and can obtain six figures if you work on building your business and practice good habits.
